Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain the dairy and freezer sections, ensuring proper stocking, rotation and product integrity while supporting merchandising and adherence to food safety standards. This role strengthens the perishables team and contributes to a smooth member experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining cold chain, inventory accuracy, accurate signage and pricing, and supporting seasonal initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations.
Basic knowledge of cold chain and food safety standards.
Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Stock dairy and freezer products according to company planograms to maintain visual standards and consistent member experience.
Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy by monitoring temperature and replenishing items.
Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
Conduct regular quality and date checks and remove expired or damaged items.
Ensure food safety and sanitation by cleaning coolers, freezers, equipment and shelves.
Support seasonal merchandising initiatives and accurate signage and pricing.
