California State University, Long Beach is seeking a Lead Custodian to supervise custodial staff, conduct inspections, and coordinate supplies for campus facilities. The position operates on a 1.0 time-base (40 hours/week) with a temporary appointment up to one year in the Beach Building Services department.

The role requires experience in custodial work, leadership, and the ability to manage records and respond to cleaning emergencies.

Qualificações

• Equivalent to two years of related custodial experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; capable of 100 lbs with assistance.
• Valid California Driver's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead workers and supervise custodial staff; inspect work and train staff.
• Coordinate events support and maintain records of work orders.
• Order, store, and deliver supplies and equipment to custodial closets.
• May perform supervisory duties when the Supervising Custodian is absent.
