Job summary

Immaculate Facility Services in Memphis, TN seeks a detail-oriented janitorial associate to clean and service assigned areas in offices, break rooms, bathrooms, and a warehouse facility. You will sweep, vacuum, buff floors, empty trash, replace liners, and operate walk-behind floor scrubbers to maintain sanitary conditions.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the judgment to report hazards or needed repairs.

• Industrial cleaning experience required.

Position Objective: This position is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas in offices, break rooms, bathrooms, and all areas in a warehouse facility. As well as sweeping, vacuuming, buffing floors, emptying trash containers and replace lining of trash cans as needed. Position does work rotating weekendsDuties and Responsibilities:Provide immaculate cleaning services throughout the warehouse facilityMaintain clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfacesDust and clean furniture, mirrors, walls, machines, and equipmentUse walk-behind floor scrubbers throughout warehouseClean and keep break room areas and/or floors neat and tidyClean and service restrooms with rags, brushes, mops and disinfectantsReplenish supplies i.e., soap, towels and other dispensable itemsMix various cleaning agents and use cleaning solution to remove stain and clean surfaces.Identify, and report possible repairs and/or negative conditionsMaintain building security/safety by performing task i.e., locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliances after cleaning to ensure that hazards are not createdDrive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, powered and/or hand-operated industrial trucksAttend to emergencies and perform other job-related duties as necessaryPrevious cleaning experience in an industrial settingMust know how to use common housecleaning implements, such as mops, floor waxes and scouring pads, to keep areas clean and well servicedAbility to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong - It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problemAbility to endure long hours of continuous work when called upon to do soPhysical efforts required by the job include: walking, standing, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.Must know how to care for equipment, how to measure cleaning solutions, and be alert to hazardsAbility to follow oral and written instructionsDetailed and team-orientedMust be able to work independently and accomplish goals with little direct supervision.
