Job Summary

The Overnight Custodian / Cleaner will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Overnight Custodian / Cleaner Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.
2. Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
3. Properly dispose of trash and maintain the trash cans.
4. Clean/dust items high off the ground (i.e., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters).
5. Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
6. Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately.

Overnight Custodian / Cleaner Qualifications/Requirements

1. Custodial experience is preferred.
2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
3. Punctuality and reliability is a must.
4. Ability to work overnights.
5. Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
6. Ability to solve problems independently.
7. Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
8. High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred.

Overnight Custodian / Cleaner Physical Demands

1. Continual standing and walking during shift.
2. Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
3. Will encounter toxic chemicals.
4. Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
5. Moving self in different positions, including bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting, to accomplish tasks.
