Job summary

Covenant Health in Lenoir City, TN seeks a CT Technologist for full-time night shift duties. You will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and maintain a safe CT environment while supporting radiology services for the Fort Loudoun Medical Center campus.

The role involves patient screening, contrast administration, and collaboration with radiologists on protocol development and patient care. BLS and safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT CT within 1 year per licensing pathways.
• Alternative licensing: NMTCB CT within 1 year.
• Alternative licensing: ARDMS CT within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations under the order of a licensed medical practitioner for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic intervention.
• Operates CT equipment and related devices to produce high quality CT images and optimize dose.
• Screens patients for safety, prepares patient history, and educates to minimize anxiety during CT exams.
• Administers contrast media as prescribed and may perform venipuncture as needed for CT procedures.
• Assists radiologist with CT procedures and ensures proper peri-procedure time-outs are observed.
• Coordinates scheduling/patient flow and supports inventory control and clerical tasks.
• Educates and orients new staff and students; adheres to BLS and safety standards.

NMTCB CT within 1 year (Path 2)

ARDMS CT within 1 year (Path 3)
