Job summary

Stream Data Centers is seeking a Critical Engineering Technician (CET) for an overnight role, typically 6pm–6:30am, rotating 3–4 weeks. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a high‑risk data center environment, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer confidence.

Role requires hands‑on work, ability to read blueprints, and coordination with a Facilities Manager and contractors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in critical environment operations, maintenance, or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of safety requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on critical equipment (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
• Read blueprints and schematics to resolve equipment issues.
• Oversee safe operation and maintenance, including third-party contractors.
• Create and maintain documentation and procedures (MOPs, SOPs, EOPs).
• Be available to cover 24/7 on-call shifts for emergencies.
