Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health’s GCVS unit in Houston, TX is hiring a Critical Care Overnight Veterinary Technician. You will provide advanced nursing care to critically ill and hospitalized patients, monitor patient status, administer treatments, perform technical procedures, and collaborate with veterinarians and specialty teams to support life-saving interventions.

We seek experienced technicians (LVT preferred, 2+ years), fluent English, strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred.
• Emergency or Critical Care experience encouraged.
• Minimum of two years veterinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care and monitoring for hospitalized patients, including medications, fluids, and treatments.
• Communicate with clients with empathy and provide case updates.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to implement care plans.
• Monitor patient status and assist with emergency procedures as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and equipment.
