Job summary

North Range Behavioral Health is seeking an Overnight Mental Health Clinician for the Crisis Stabilization Services in Greeley, CO. The role supports acute mental health and substance use crises, with 24/7 availability through the ATU and Detox programs.

The candidate will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, law enforcement, and external providers to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or similar.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening including background check, fingerprinting, and TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues.
• Develop and update strength-based treatment plans, continuing care plans, and discharge summaries; make timely referrals.
• Observe clients, assess diagnoses and mental status, and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists.
• Work with clients on safety planning, symptom management, support system identification, and risk mitigation.
• Teach clients behavioral skills, coping strategies, and problem-solving techniques.
• Provide case management and refer clients to additional resources.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliant coding and billing.
