Job summary

Four Seasons in Scottsdale is seeking an Overnight Cook to keep our kitchen running smoothly through late-night and early-morning service. You will cook to standard recipes, manage prep, and maintain cleanliness and food safety. This is a full-time role with a night shift that starts at 10:00pm and ends at 6:30am.

This position requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and holding a valid Maricopa County food handler's card. Competitive wages and benefits are offered.

• Previous experience as a cook or line cook preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable and punctual with overnight shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production needs.
• Set up and break down cooking stations for overnight service.
• Complete overnight prep tasks for proteins, vegetables, sauces and batch items.
• Maintain sanitation and storage practices at all times.
• Monitor food quality, temperature and presentation during overnight service.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment and kitchen areas.
• Follow health department safety and company policies.
• Communicate inventory shortages or equipment issues to Supervisors.
• Support morning transition by organizing stations for opening staff.

About the role

The Overnight Cook plays a vital role in keeping our kitchen running seamlessly around the clock. In this role, you’ll bring energy and precision to late-night and early-morning operations, preparing high-quality dishes, supporting ongoing service, and ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. With a strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and food safety, you’ll manage line cooking, prep work, and station upkeep with confidence and independence, helping set the tone for a successful day ahead.

What you will do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production needs
• Set up stock and break down assigned cooking stations for overnight service
• Complete overnight prep tasks including proteins vegetables sauces and batch items for upcoming shifts
• Maintain proper food handling sanitation and storage practices at all times
• Monitor food quality temperature and presentation during overnight service
• Clean and sanitize workstations equipment and kitchen areas throughout the shift
• Follow all health department safety and company policies
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding inventory shortages equipment issues and overnight needs
• Support morning transition by ensuring stations are organized labeled and ready for opening staff

What you bring

• Previous experience as a cook or line cook preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques knife skills and food safety standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable punctual and able to maintain focus during overnight shifts
• The ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift.
• Valid Maricopa County food handler's card.

• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
