Jobot in Sidney, OH is seeking an Overnight CNC Set-Up Machinist to operate multi-axis CNC turning and milling machines for aerospace precision components. You will read blueprints with GD&T, perform first article inspections, and document results in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of CNC multi-axis turning or milling experience with full setup and troubleshooting.
• Experience in aerospace or precision component manufacturing preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Proven ability to independently set up and run complex machining jobs and perform first article inspections.
• Experience using ERP for production documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning and/or milling machines with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and operation sheets, including GD&T.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial gauges.
• Hold tight tolerances in complex precision machining environments.
• Document inspection results and job data within the ERP system.
• Follow all quality procedures related to machine setup, inspection, documentation, and material handling.
• Troubleshoot machining processes and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
