Job summary

Metcut Research is seeking a highly skilled Machinist in Cincinnati to operate, set up, and maintain CNC and manual equipment that produces aerospace components.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of machining experience, strong CAD/CAM skills, and GD&T expertise. The role emphasizes precision, collaboration with engineering, and continuous improvement within aerospace manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of machining experience with advanced CNC programming.
• Experience in aerospace applications and AS9100/NADCAP awareness.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&T tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Setup, programming, and operation of complex multi-axis CNC and manual machines.
• Develop and implement machining strategies for aerospace components.
• Collaborate with engineering to design tooling, fixtures, and processes.
• Conduct precision inspections to validate critical dimensions and tolerances.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and document processes.
