Job summary

Upscale Home Care in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an empathetic Overnight Shift CNA to provide high-quality in-home care for veterans and seniors. The role involves assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, and ensuring a safe, comfortable home environment for clients.

You will work overnight, including weekends and holidays, and collaborate with a care team to create individualized care plans. A CNA certification and at least 3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a CNA.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to lift and transfer clients safely.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Availability to work overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Take vital signs, monitor medications, and report any changes or concerns to the nurse or supervisor.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
