Job summary

Dragonfly Health is seeking a Clinical Consulting Pharmacist to provide remote pharmacist reviews and consultations for PA or TN residents. This role focuses on medication requests, prior authorizations, and benefit determinations, with emphasis on safety, effectiveness, and cost containment.

Applicants should hold an active pharmacist license in PA or TN, with PharmD preferred, and bring 1+ year of pharmacy experience. Remote work is supported, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• PharmD or higher degree required.
• R.Ph license in PA or TN.
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license.
• 1+ year of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical review and consultation on medication requests, prior authorizations, and benefit determinations.
• Evaluate therapy appropriateness, dosing, and safety based on guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify prescriptions and suggest alternatives.
• Support complex case reviews and appeals with accurate clinical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve medication adherence, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Educate internal teams on formulary management and policy updates.
