Job summary

Bunzl plc in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer and deliver goods overnight. Start time is 3:00am with a $28-$30 hourly wage (based on experience) and a $1500 sign-on bonus.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Responsibilities include safe cargo handling, DOT/ELD compliance, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• A clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds and loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods to customer locations local and long-distance.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs/paperwork on time.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance issues are reported to management.
