Job summary

Bunzl is hiring a Class B CDL Driver in Hazelwood, MO. The role involves operating a Class A tractor-trailer (as needed), pre/post-trip inspections, and delivering goods locally and long-distance. A $1500 sign-on bonus and a 3am start are offered with a $25.50/hour rate and weekly pay.

Full-time, on-site position with benefits and opportunities for growth. You will join a large network headquartered in St. Louis, MO, serving 50 states and beyond.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• A clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate various commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and load/unload cargo.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Pass background checks and drug tests; maintain an active medical card.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Deliver goods locally and long-distance to customer locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain logs and paperwork accurately and timely.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Report vehicle issues to management promptly and ensure vehicle maintenance.
