Job summary

Bunzl plc is seeking a professional Driver to join our U.S. operations. The role requires operating Class A vehicles, excellent safety practices, and strong customer service to deliver to local and long-distance locations. Starting pay is $28.50/hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and a 3am start time with adjustments possible.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure on-time deliveries while following DOT regulations. Benefits and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate a range of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods locally and long-distance in a timely and safe manner.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs/paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Report any vehicle issues to management immediately.
