Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the overnight shift at our Springfield location. The role supports dispensing and restocking from central pharmacy to patient care areas using Pyxis and related automation, under supervision of licensed pharmacists.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician is required.
• National Certification is required (PTCB, ExCPT, or NRCPhT accepted).
• Previous acute care technician experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and restocks through central pharmacy to patient care areas using automated dispensing systems.
• Triages orders, prioritizes, and notifies pharmacists as appropriate.
• Interacts with healthcare team and ensures patient rights and confidentiality.
