Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a CDL-B delivery driver in Ohio. Responsibilities include safe, timely delivery of food products, vehicle inspections, and accurate paperwork.

You will interact with customers, maintain routes, and ensure products reach destinations in good condition. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of driving experience, and a valid CDL-B with DOT health card.

Qualifications

• CDL-B driver requirement and clean MVR expectations.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21+ years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• Possesses or can obtain a valid DOT Health Card.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting 10–90 lbs.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety checks on tractor/trailer and report issues per DOT rules.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; verify freight is secured.
• Count items and review customer invoices for loads.
• Process required delivery paperwork clearly and accurately.
• Drive to customer locations and deliver orders per route schedule.
• Unload freight at customer sites and secure items in storage areas.
• Obtain customer signatures and handle payments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tractor, trailer, and dock areas.
