Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring a Cashier/Sales Associate at Store 4240 in Ferris, TX. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and help keep the store clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities include lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with age verification, stocking, and maintaining a safe, organized store environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required; overnight shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and English literacy.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process transactions accurately and quickly.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with proper age verification.
• Upsell where possible to increase sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety inside and outside the store.
• Stock shelves and displays; ensure merchandise looks fresh and organized.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed and follow safety procedures.
