We’re looking for a Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys greeting guests, solving problems, and keeping track of operations. You will be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate a register/POS accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions.
2. Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs.
3. Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer; fill out cashier slips and make deposits.
4. Adhere to Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures.
5. Understand and be knowledgeable about the merchandise for sale to assist customers and process transactions accurately.
6. Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned based on operating hours.
7. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of the shift.
8. Ensure products are stocked appropriately and replenish as needed.
9. Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
