Job summary

Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego is seeking a Caseworker Coach I for Rachel’s Promise Center for Women and Children in San Diego. The role supports single adult women and families, ensuring safe housing and helping residents set and reach goals.

Responsibilities include intake processing, trauma‑informed guidance, safety promotion, and coordination with community resources. Evening shift duties and collaboration with program staff are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1 year shelter/case management experience.
• Background check clearance required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; English proficiency required.
• Trauma-informed service delivery familiarity.
• Ability to use HMIS software such as Clarity HMIS.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and orient program residents to the shelter; complete intakes and explain routines.
• Provide trauma-informed, resident-centered support to women and families, promoting safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked facility; assist with meals and post‑meal cleanup.
