Job summary

TruCare Community, Inc. is seeking a Caregiver/Med Tech (NOC) for Villa Redondo in Long Beach, CA. The night shift runs 10pm-6:30am Fri-Mon, focusing on compassionate resident care and ADLs. Full-time and part-time roles with a $500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered. A DOJ/FBI live scan and other clearances are required, plus a diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• DOJ FBI live scan background clearance required
• Pre-employment physical and TB test clearance required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily assignments, completing ADLs with residents
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents
• Progressive documentation and communication with physicians/medical staff
• Reduce residents' pain and promote engagement and independence with medical professionals
• Maintain composure during emergencies and a safe work environment
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator about changes or concerns
• Complete outstanding paperwork, including medication records and logs
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by Administration

Villa Redondo is an 80 bed assisted living facility for the elderly community located in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregiver/Med Techs who have the passion to help the elderly and who enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts

Job Description:

• Assist with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
• Progressive documentation and communication with physician and /or medical professional.
• Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence.
• Maintains good composure during emergencies and maintains a safe work environment.
• Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns
• Complete any outstanding paperwork for the day including filing, logging medication and centrally stored record
• Additional duties as assigned by Administration
