Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC. is seeking a compassionate caregiver for a 14-year-old girl with I/DD. The role involves nighttime support, personal care, and helping her prepare for school, on an independent contractor basis.

The position pays $15.00 per hour with shifts Sunday through Saturday from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM in Punta Gorda, FL. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.
