Job summary

FirstLight Home Care in Solon is seeking experienced caregivers for 12-hour overnight openings within about 30 minutes of Solon, OH. Earn $16–$19/hour with 24–36 hours weekly across two to three shifts, in both full-time and part-time roles.

Provide one-on-one in-home care, follow individualized care plans, and support clients with mobility, bathing, meals, and companionship. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience.
• Availability to work two 12-hour overnight shifts per week (24 hours).
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to client homes within approximately 30 minutes of Solon.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision, companionship and safety monitoring.
• Assist with evening, overnight and morning routines.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Assist with walking, mobility, transfers and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals, snacks or beverages as needed.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to client care.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Follow individualized care plans and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families and the FirstLight team.
• Promote each client's dignity, comfort, safety and independence.
