Job summary

Senior Helpers of Cerritos provides in-home non-medical care to seniors, offering companionship and hands-on support. Caregivers may be asked to perform a range of duties from basic personal care to light housekeeping while building trusted relationships with clients and families.

We seek a part-time caregiver with at least 1 year of personal care experience, TB test, and HBCA Livescan ready. Overnight availability is preferred to meet client needs and scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Complete State required Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and Livescan fingerprinting before orientation.
• Current negative TB test.
• At least 1 year of personal care experience with diaper care, including family, facilities or in-home care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide companionship and one-on-one care to clients.
• Light housekeeping including vacuuming, dusting, and laundry.
• Maintain client safety and well-being; document activities per procedure.
