Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services in the United States seeks a full-time caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting with personal care, encouraging community participation, and helping participants achieve daily goals.

You must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be willing to work weekend and overnight shifts on an alternating 7-on/7-off schedule.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience Intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred.
• Proof of Education required (HS diploma or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage participation in community activities and monitor well-being.

Hire wage is $17 hourly

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled

Full Time

Every other Wednesday through Every other Tuesday 10p-8a (7 days on 7 days off)
