Job summary

Milestone Recovery is seeking staff to care for residents at the Extended Care Program. Responsibilities include supporting clients during shifts, conducting hourly room checks, and maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires adherence to policies, handling basic cleaning, and coordinating transportation for emergencies as needed. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in homeless and substance use disorder populations and Recovery Coach

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow and understand all policies and procedures.
• Provide support and oversight to Extended Care clients during shifts.
• Engage in hourly room checks and supportive conversations.
• Check the area around main building at least twice nightly.
• Clean staff/visitor bathrooms and perform light cleaning.
• Arrange transportation to emergency services when needed.
• Respect client confidentiality at all times.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Milestone Recovery is here to provide the best quality of services to empower individuals with homelessness, substance use and behavioral health disorders to attain stability, dignity, recovery, and an enhanced quality of life.

Position Profile: Responsible for the care and well-being of clients who reside at the Extended Care Program.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Follow and fully understand all policies and procedures
• Provide support and oversight to Extended Care clients throughout the shift to include engaging in hourly room checks and engaging in supportive conversations when clients are struggling; must have the ability to be awake and alert for all hours of the shift
• Checking the immediate area around main building at least twice nightly
• Responsible for cleaning staff/visitor bathroom including but not limited to changing trash and mopping floors as well as other light cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor
• Arrange transportation to emergency services when needed
• Respect client confidentiality at all times
• Attend required training programs and scheduled staff meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation: Compensation for this hourly position is $20 per hour + applicable shift differentials

Schedule: Overnight shifts are 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.; currently we have an open shift on Wednesday in addition to being able to pick up other shifts Per Diem.

Differentials: Overnight differential $2.50/hour 11pm-7am. Weekend differential additional $2.50/hour.

Requirements

Qualifications: A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required. Prior experience related to the human services field preferred with minimum of one year experience working in a residential setting. Prior experience with homeless and substance use disorder population highly preferred. Recovery Coach training preferred.
