Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a dedicated Distribution Technician to support the overnight distribution of whole blood and blood components. Duties include labeling products for release, data entry for production and shipping, and ensuring timely, accurate handling of materials at the Ft. Lauderdale facility.

This full-time role requires availability for overnight shift 11:00 PM–7:30 AM (Friday–Tuesday) with training Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. A shift differential may apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Prior customer service, laboratory, blood bank manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper labeling and release of products for distribution.
• Enter data for component production, labeling, storage and shipping.
• Manufacture, store and distribute blood and blood products.
• Operate, maintain and QC equipment.
• Quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• May operate a OneBlood courier vehicle when applicable.
