Job summary

Avery's House seeks a Part-Time Overnight Clinical Assistant (BHT) to support neurodivergent adolescents in a residential treatment program. You will engage clients, assist with daily routines, and help implement individualized behavioral plans under clinical supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, administering medications as directed, and collaborating with nurses, therapists, and case managers to ensure continuity of care. 13-hour awake shifts are required in Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older
• Arizona Fingerprint Card current
• CPR/First Aid Certification current
• High School Diploma preferred
• 1 year in behavioral healthcare preferred
• Valid driver’s license with insurability
• Ability to work 13-hour awake overnight shifts
• Experience with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage clients during overnight shifts.
• Provide recovery-oriented care in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and meals.
• Support clients with ADLs and promote independence.
• Utilize de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches.
• Document changes in EMR and coordinate with clinical team.
