Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Bend, Oregon is hiring a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician for overnight care of preteens aged 10–17. The role provides structured, trauma-informed support through experiential learning, animal-assisted activities, and academic help.

You’ll work 9:30 PM–7:30 AM, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments. A strong background in mental health and crisis response is encouraged to join our premier treatment center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelors in human services, psychology, or criminal justice preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Human Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client safety and emotional well-being through overnight supervision and timely documentation.
• Maintain a calm, supportive presence while monitoring overnight needs and routines.
• Guide adolescents through evening transitions and coping strategies.
• Respond with trauma-informed, de-escalation techniques to behavioral challenges.
• Support a clean, welcoming environment through nightly cleaning and facility upkeep.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with residential upkeep, animal care, and light administrative tasks.
