Embark Behavioral Health in Bend, Oregon is hiring compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team. In this essential role, you’ll support preteens ages 10–17 in a safe, trauma-informed, and structured environment, helping them grow through experiential learning, animal-assisted activities, academic support, and emotional skill-building.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years in Human Services preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's in human services, psychology, or criminal justice preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training provided.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks per state laws.

Responsabilités

• Ensure client safety and emotional well-being through supervision and documentation.
• Maintain structure and boundaries to foster a supportive environment.
• Respond to crises using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care.
• Assist with academic tasks and daily routines.
• Participate in recreational and therapeutic activities (arts, crafts, sports, nature walks).
• Support residential upkeep, animal care, and occasional meal service.
