Job summary

Wegmans in McLean, VA is seeking a part-time baker to join our bakery team. Shifts start as early as 1am and include overnight/weekend availability.

You will produce artisan breads, desserts and breakfast items using Wegmans recipes, delivering high-quality products to our customers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include serving customers with a smile, educating shoppers on meal solutions, and working accurately and efficiently to maintain product freshness.

As a baker, you'll work with a team to ensure the freshest and best tasting artisan products our bakery is known for are available for our customers every day. You will use Wegmans recipes to produce both premade and scratch dough breads, desserts and breakfast items. If you have a passion for baking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then this could be the role for you!

Required Qualifications:

• Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience Baking, following recipes and working in a bakery with dough made from scratch
• Advanced organizational, mathematical and time management skills
