West Bay RI in Cranston, RI is seeking an Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide night supervision and care in residents' homes according to individualized plans.

The Awake Overnight role requires staying alert, administering medications, and documenting activities, while communicating with families and healthcare professionals. The Resting Overnight tasks include assisting with morning routines, maintaining household order, and completing paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the overnight shift.
• Provide direct support and personal care per individualized plan.
• Monitor individuals and respond to health, safety, and personal care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized and per policy.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents requiring attention.
• Complete overnight household tasks and cleanings as required.
• Document overnight activities and observations accurately and objectively.
• Maintain professional interactions with individuals, families, coworkers, and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with morning routines and personal care during resting shifts.
• Complete all paperwork before leaving shift.
