Job summary

White Lodging is hiring a Night Auditor for the hotel front desk and accounting team. This is a full-time overnight role for a detail-oriented hospitality professional who balances hotel transactions, runs nightly audit reports, and delivers exceptional guest service — all while the rest of the world sleeps.

The 3rd shift requires availability from 11pm to 7am. Training is provided, with opportunities across multiple hotel properties and growth potential within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk, night auditor, or hospitality experience preferred — not required; we will train the right candidate with the right attitude and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service during overnight hotel hours.
• Sharp attention to detail and accuracy — you take pride in balanced reports, error-free folios, and a clean audit every night.
• An outgoing, positive personality with the flexibility and composure to adapt to any guest situation that arises during an overnight shift.
• A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to contribute to the hotel front desk team — even when working independently through the night.
• Full availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as a 24-hour hotel operation requires.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for hotel guests during overnight hours — assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally with all front desk functions including check-in, check-out, and special requests
• Balance all hotel and restaurant transactions at the close of each business day — including credit card reconciliation, cash handling, and change fund management as part of the nightly hotel audit process
• Consistently follow all hotel credit, cash-handling, and accounting procedures in accordance with White Lodging standards and brand compliance requirements
• Run nightly audit reports, record all hotel revenues and statistics accurately, and prepare end-of-night financial summaries for hotel management review
• Read, analyze, interpret, and clearly explain standard hotel reports, guest folios, and emergency procedures — serving as the on-site point of authority during overnight hours
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of all guest information and hotel data throughout every overnight shift
• Effectively respond to and resolve guest concerns and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned
