Vivvi in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our onsite child care program serving Toyota families. You will support a Head Teacher and help deliver a safe, nurturing classroom environment that sparks curiosity.

The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate play, daily routines, and strict adherence to licensing, health, safety, and staffing ratios. Strong communication and teamwork are valued as part of our collaborative educator team.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Meet state requirements for child care staff in a licensed program or be eligible.
• Able to pass required background checks and pre-service training.
• Demonstrate reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Assist with implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum through play, exploration, and daily routines

• Supervise children and support daily activities including meals, rest time, and transitions

About The Role

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
