Vivvi in Huntsville, AL, is hiring an Assistant Teacher to join a founding team delivering onsite child care for Toyota families. You will work with Head Teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum through play and daily routines.

The role emphasizes compliance with state licensing, staff ratios, and documentation, plus opportunities for professional development and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education or related field preferred but not required.

About The Role

As an Assistant Teacher, you will:

• Support the Head Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Assist with implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum through play, exploration, and daily routines
• Help maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and ratio requirements
• Supervise children and support daily activities including meals, rest time, and transitions
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Support classroom organization, cleanliness, and documentation as required
• Step into classroom coverage as needed to maintain proper ratios
