Job summary

Glenhaven Academy, part of Justice Resource Institute (JRI), is seeking an Assistant Residential Supervisor to oversee overnight operations and support a trauma-informed residential program for adolescents. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring safety and compliance while promoting a positive and energetic work environment.

You will supervise Residential Counselors, provide training, and help maintain a therapeutic atmosphere for youth.

Qualifications

• Must have residential program or mental health facility experience.
• Supervisory experience in mental health facility required.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program safety and compliance with safety procedures on site and during on‑call rotations.
• Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
• Support safety and well‑being of students and staff through policy knowledge and implementation.
• Assist with staff and programming within Glenhaven Academy’s Residential Department.

Are you the Assistant Residential Supervisor we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our students!

Glenhaven Academy is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Glenhaven provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Remain awake throughout overnight shift to ensure safety and wellbeing of students.
• Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
• Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de‑escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
