Job summary

A security services provider in Kinston, NC, is looking for part-time Armed Security Officers. Responsibilities include responding to calls, crowd control, and performing facility checks. Candidates must be 21+, able to work night shifts, and pass a background check. A minimum of 3 years in security or relevant experience is preferred. Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.
• Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.
• Must possess and maintain state required Armed Security Officer licensing.
• Current Operator's permit (Driver's License) is required.

Responsibilities

• Responding to a variety of calls/incidents.
• Safeguarding and securing all scenes.
• Performing crowd control when needed.
• Completing required reports and forms via electronic security applications.

Skills

Excellent Microsoft applications skills

Ability to work night shifts

Self-motivated

3 years security experience

Fluent in English

Education

Associate's degree or 60-semester hours college credit

Three years military or National Guard experience
