Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to join our team. You will stock shelves, move products to correct locations, and support backroom organization while delivering friendly customer service.

You will work overnight shifts and collaborate with leadership to ensure timely completion of tasks, contributing to a well-run, inviting store environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role in retail focused on customer service and merchandising.
• Ability to learn and follow store processes and procedures.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard in backroom areas.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
