Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is hiring an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate at our Ohio airport location. You will contribute to the timely delivery of Express shipments by loading and unloading containers, moving freight from aircraft to warehouse and then to trucks for on-time delivery.

This cross-dock role involves working indoors in an open-air environment near aircraft and requires basic English literacy and a minimum of one year in a similar role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand and pushcart to warehouse to truck.
• Build up package containers ready for outbound flights.
• Break down package containers from arriving flights.
• Remove tie-downs and other gear during loading/unloading.
• Sort, scan and move small packages within the warehouse.
• Operate package handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords.
• Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents per air safety guidelines.
