Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is hiring an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate at our Pennsylvania airport location to ensure timely delivery of Express packages by loading/unloading air freight containers and moving cargo to trucks. The role is a cross-dock operation with entry to outdoor/indoor environments, and requires attention to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload Express packages from air freight containers to and from semi-trucks in a widely dispersed area.
• Sorting, scanning and movement of small packages within the warehouse.
• Buildup / Breakdown package containers for outbound/inbound flights.
• Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading.
• Operate air freight handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts).
• Weighing, labeling, or break-down of gaylords or air freight containers.
• Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines.
• Report to position on time, as scheduled, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Complete required computer-based and on-the-job trainings.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumes.

Job Summary

As an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to the timely delivery of Express packages by loading and unloading of air freight containers, moving these containers from airplane to truck for on-time delivery to our customers at our airport location. This job is a cross-dock operation; your role is to move Express packages from aircraft to warehouse to trucks with no/minimal storage. Our indoor facility is an open-air environment and not temperature-controlled, and you may work in or around aircraft. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of temperatures, rain, wind, hot and cold weather.
