Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an Airframe and Powerplant Technician for Unscheduled Maintenance (UMT) - Day Shift at the Hartford Service Center in Windsor Locks, CT. You will join a team responsible for maintenance, repair and inspection of customer aircraft, following regulatory and company procedures to ensure safe, on-time operations.

The role requires extensive experience on corporate jets, Bombardier model familiarity, and the ability to train others while advancing your qualifications in

Qualifications

• 8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, with 5+ years on corporate jet aircraft.
• 3+ years of Bombardier aircraft model experience.
• Experience with return to service and inspection procedures.
• Ability to train others and become engine run, taxi and APU run qualified on Bombardier aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Perform and document work per manuals and regulations as required.
• Inspect incoming parts and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Assist in other maintenance disciplines – Avionics, Structures, Composites, etc.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• Assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
• Provide time estimates; perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements and safety policies.
