Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an Advanced Imaging Tech for the heart hospital to support overnight, specialized imaging in an intraoperative setting. The role involves performing advanced Cardiac MR, Neuro MR/CT imaging and 3D imaging for treatment planning, with data transfer to multiple workstations and 3D software platforms.

The position requires 3 years of MR/CT or Interventional Radiology experience, ARRT CT or MR certification, and a preference for cardiac and dual-modality

Qualifications

• 3 years clinical experience in MR, CT or Interventional Radiology
• ARRT registered in CT or MR
• Cardiac experience preferred
• Dual modality preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs routine as well as Advanced Cardiac MR, Advanced Neuro MR/ CT imaging in the intraoperative environment and Advanced 3D Imaging for Neuro/Vascular Treatment Planning.
• Manages transfer of image data to various technology/workstations, such as: 3D software platforms and intraoperative navigational systems.
