Edward Jones is seeking an experienced Associate Overlay Portfolio Manager in Tempe, AZ to support overlay portfolio management for Separately Managed Accounts (SMA). You will monitor performance, refine processes, and collaborate with sub-advisor teams to implement strategies and tax-managed transitions.

The role emphasizes data analysis, communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technology skills and learning agility with new technology.
• Ability to think critically and research/analyze data.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of separate account composites relative to benchmarks and institutional composites.
• Analyze performance attribution reports to identify factors affecting performance.
• Lead calls with sub-advisor trading and portfolio management teams to onboard new strategies and address model communication issues.
• Assist other overlay portfolio managers with tax loss harvesting, account equitization, and multi-year tax managed transitions.
• Operate during standard business hours with occasional coverage during U.S. market hours.
