Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator - Overhead for Blue Bonnet Electric Coop maintenance to support construction and repair of overhead distribution systems. You will operate heavy equipment and assist line-workers to keep the power grid reliable.

The role requires safety focus, ability to work long hours, travel as needed, and willingness to train and develop leadership skills in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Commercial Driver's License permit within 60 days of employment.
• Able to operate heavy equipment used in powerline construction.
• Able to read/write and communicate effectively.
• Must be willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to work extended periods in various locations and lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Secure safety of yourself and others while performing duties.
• Assist line-workers in meeting project objectives.
• Join storm restoration efforts when required.
• Operate vehicles and equipment professionally and safely.
• Continue training to improve technical and leadership skills.
