Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a skilled line worker to patrol, repair and restore electric service across overhead and underground circuits in a rotating shift. The role requires CDL eligibility, a high school diploma or equivalent, and related lineman training or experience.

The position involves responding to outages, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safe, reliable service for 1.2 million electric customers in central and eastern Missouri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of lineman experience or completion of the Apprentice Line Troubleman Training program.
• Thorough knowledge of overhead line construction and standard practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL.
• Be adept in artificial respiration.
• Be alert, neat in appearance, resourceful, agile, quick-acting, able-bodied.

Responsibilities

• Patrol, repair and restore service on overhead or underground circuits as assigned.
• Drive company vehicle and handle tools and materials.
• Perform routine or emergency switching and operate substations and meters as directed.
