Ameren Missouri is seeking qualified Line Troublemen to patrol, repair and restore service on overhead or underground circuits, often on rotating shifts. This position requires operating company vehicles, inspecting equipment, responding to outages and customer service calls to restore power efficiently.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience as a Lineman or completion of the Apprentice Line Troubleman Training, and the ability to obtain a CDL.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Lineman or completion of the Apprentice Line Troubleman Training program.
• Thorough knowledge of overhead line construction and standard practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL.
• Be adept in artificial respiration.
• Be alert, neat in appearance, resourceful, agile, quick-acting, able-bodied.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol, repair and restore service on overhead or underground circuits under supervision.
• Inspect and operate equipment; respond to outages and customer service calls as needed to restore service.
• Test circuits and equipment for faults and clear if possible.
• Install or read meters and perform related routine duties.
• Follow safety rules and protect the public while working on poles and in substations.
