The City and County of San Francisco's Municipal Transportation Agency seeks a Class 7366 Transit Power Line Worker. This permanent civil service role performs skilled line work on trolley overhead systems, poles, cables, and related facilities, with potential for day, swing, or night shifts.

Candidates must complete a state-certified Electrical Line Worker apprenticeship or have journey-level HV experience, plus a valid driver's license with Class B within six months.

Qualificações

• Completion of a State certified Electrical Line Worker apprenticeship program.
• Two years of journey-level electrical line worker experience in HV systems.
• Five years of journey-level electrician experience with two years in HV systems.
• Valid driver license; must obtain Class B within six months of appointment.

Responsabilidades

• Strings, rigs and repairs electrical lines, cables, wires and related switches under energized and de-energized conditions in heavy traffic.
• Inspects overhead lines and circuits to identify faulty lines or worn parts for on-site or later repair.
• Installs and maintains underground and overhead electrical systems and supporting structures.
• Repairs and replaces poles, cross arms, insulators, and related hardware under energized conditions.
• Digs foundations; sets, plumbs and anchors poles.
• Responds to emergency road call requests.
• Maintains routine records.
• Drives City vehicles.
• Performs related duties as required.
