Jobot is seeking an overhead door technician to install, repair, and maintain commercial doors and related hardware nationwide. You will read blueprints and schematics, perform welding and fabrication, use hand and power tools, and ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing while documenting work and managing on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites focusing on door hanging, fabrication, or mechanical installation.
• Hands-on knowledge of glass installation, welding, and tool use.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and apply mechanical knowledge to overhead door systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair overhead doors (garage, sectional, rolling steel) using hand and power tools.
• Perform glass installation for door panels or windows as needed.
• Conduct welding and fabrication to modify or reinforce components to spec.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble and install systems.
• Apply construction skills to support installation projects and ensure weatherproofing.
