Job summary

Linetec Services is seeking a Lineman B2 to build and maintain energized utility facilities across the U.S. and Canada. The position requires working outdoors on utility poles, handling energized lines and transformer work, with safety as a top priority.

Applicants should have 3.5+ years in the power-line industry, a valid Class A CDL, and experience with line testing, rigging, and URD installations. Centuri Group supports career development and benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.5 years in the electrical power-line industry.
• All Lineman B1 skills required.
• Knowledge of basic electricity and hot sticks handling.
• Competency evaluation before promotion and Apprenticeship Training involvement.
• Valid Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Work on utility poles and fixtures in energized situations.
• Handle energized multiphase primary conductors and line work around covered lines.
• Frame transformer banks, rotate three-phase services, troubleshoot overhead lines.
• Complete tree trimming, multimeter use, line test equipment, cutouts and reclosures.
• Read prints and build to specification.
• Follow safety performance requirements.
• Assist with URD installations and transformer connections.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
